Bruce Springsteen will release a new album this year. Titled “Only the Strong Survive”, the album is scheduled for release on November 11 and consists of versions of classic soul music.

The lineup includes versions of songs by Diana Ross, The Commodores, Aretha Franklin or The Four Tops, among others. As the first single, “Boss” made available “Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)”, by Frank Wilson.

In a video statement, Springsteen explained that “Only the Strong Survive” was born out of his desire to “make something I’ve never done before: music that is all about challenging my voice.”
